May 2020 Press Release
The Caravan and Motorhome Club Singers didn’t let lockdown spoil their fun over the Bank Holiday weekend – they enjoyed a virtual rally, Lockdown Live!
Using Facebook and Zoom, the 28 units started with the opening flag followed throughout the weekend with a host of great activities, socials, music, quizzes and a birthday celebration for the Singers’ Chairman Bill Humphreys.
Baz and Viv Doveston organised the successful weekend, and there are plans afoot for further rallies until we can hold real rallies again.
The Singers meet around five times a year for weekend rehearsals, usually in central England as members come from all parts of the UK.
Any CAMC members are welcome to visit one of the rehearsals to see how they are held, and more information of the Singers can be found on the website http://www.camc-singers.co.uk

Sept 2018 Press Release
THE countryside across the border of Wiltshire and Somerset has been ringing to the chimes of a group of singers who have more than the love of music in common.
They are all members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Singers and were guest performers at the 25th Anniversary celebrations of the Wessex region of the Club over the Bank Holiday weekend in Frome.
After the performance, when they wowed their audience with songs such as Do You Hear the People Sing, Amarillo, Sweet Caroline and a amazing quodlibet of I Believe sung with Bach’s Ave Maria, some of the choir moved on to Kington Langley in Wiltshire.
Here, they enjoyed a week-long holiday rally which involved more music, sightseeing and an interesting talk by Alan Lank, on the Wilts and Berks Canal Restoration project.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club Singers meet for rehearsals around five times a year, usually in central England, as members come from as far afield as North Yorkshire and Cumbria to West Sussex and Somerset.
