What a laugh we all had dressed up and ready to have fun on the Saturday night . Celebrating VE Day with a slap up meal ( how does Gary do it ? I think the kitchen elves help ) The room was decorated, quizzes about the era and music from the boys . We had worked hard during the day and played hard at night.
On Friday night however , there was NO WINE. I have had a written apology from the chairman’s liver, which was out of sorts due to the chairman’s over indulgence. The liver says it won’t happen again.
But we did over indulge at the Sunday lunch . Great meal , no need for any more food for the rest of the day.
Oh yes , we also rubbed the rough edges off the repertoire songs and started on next year’s new ones.
Yet another fantastic weekend with our family of singers.

The Chairman would like to report that there is NOTHING wrong with her liver, but after a slight over indulgence due to the hospitality of one tea girl, she decided that it would do no harm to have a DRY Friday night social for everyone! And she is unanimous in that! 🤣
